Object photography and emotion

So for this one, we are assigned to photograph an object on same position and angle but in different lighting like in the previous assignment but this time the catch is that we will also mention what emotion the picture evokes.

calm

mystery

sad

cheerful

 lonely

confident

visionary

inferior

chaos

patient

serious

hopeful

superior

composed

Observation

for this one when, i photographed under a variety of lighting conditions front, side, back, top, bottom, and even as a silhouette again and then trying to understand what emotion has been evoked when light angle is changed every change in light direction created a completely different effect. Soft, even front lighting feels calm and welcoming, while side lighting with shadows creates a more dramatic and mysterious mood. Strong backlight or silhouettes make images feel distant and introspective, whereas harsh overhead or bottom lighting comes across as intense and unsettling. Dim, low-key light evokes a quiet, intimate atmosphere, and high contrast lighting adds boldness and expressive tension.

Learning

and with this assignment i understood what light does to the viewer when perceiving an image, and as mentioned above the types of lighting and emotions evoked is what i've learnt but, i still feel those are so concrete and still something based upon my observations, some of images might not fit in the litghting-emotion evoked statement, it could be diff and is something i will explore even further!
